Metallica was founded by James Hetfield(lead guitarist) and Lars Ulrich(drummer). They welcomed in Dave Mustaine as rythem guitar and Cliff Burton on bass. Later on in life things happened. James broke his arm and couldn't play. He became rythem. Their new lead was(and still is) Kirk Hammett, because Mustaine was kicked out for drugs. When James became rythem he also started to sing. Later on Cliff Burton died. Metallica brought in Jason Newsted. It's been about 16 years Metallica has been together. | ||||||||||||||||
